Lizeth Elizondo is a highly-qualified Spanish Certified Medical and Legal Interpreter. She is accredited by the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI™) and is an Arizona Credentialed Court Interpreter with a Federal Security Tier 2 Clearance. Lizeth has over a decade of experience in facilitating effective communication between Limited English proficiency (LEP) individuals and various institutions.

Her journey in the field began at Tucson Medical Center where she served as a Medical Interpreter/Translator for twelve years. In this role, Lizeth managed daily workflow with precision, ensuring timely and accurate interpretation and translation services across all hospital units. She also developed and provided medical interpreting training to over 100 bilingual personnel. Additionally, Lizeth supervised the interpreter and translation internship program, fostering the growth of aspiring Interpreters and Translators from the University of Arizona and Pima Community College.

Currently, Lizeth works as an Immigration Court Interpreter at SOSi International, where she showcases her expertise in consecutive and simultaneous interpretation, both in-person and through remote platforms. She conducts interpretations seamlessly, upholding accuracy and clarity in every interaction.

Lizeth's educational background includes an Associate of Arts Degree with a concentration in Translation and Interpretation Studies from Pima Community College. She further honed her skills through specialized training at The University of Arizona National Center for Interpretation, earning certifications in both medical and legal interpretation.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Lizeth possesses a deep understanding of both languages and their respective cultures.
